Pat Clarke & Mickey Van Gelder

Pat Clarke (harmonica) and Mickey Van Gelder (guitar) first played together nearly 20 years ago now. They play and sing the Blues, their biggest influence being Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.

Their repertoire includes songs recorded by Big Bill Broonzy, Blind Boy Fuller, Memphis Slim and Little Brother Montgomery as well as original tunes rooted in a vintage style.

Pat & Mickey have played together on the acoustic stage at Colne twice before and are delighted to be back playing to a knowledgeable and appreciative audience of Blues lovers.
