Dirty Ruby

Dirty Ruby are a five piece modern blues band, hailing from the East Midlands. After first forming in 2018, they have toured the UK extensively, playing blues bars and clubs and prestigious festivals across the country.

They released a digital EP called ‘The Bunker Sessions’ which they recorded live, just before the lockdown.

The band are currently gaining a well respected following on the UK blues circuit and are in the process of writing their debut album.

Having received acclaim from some great venues, magazines and reviewers, the band have been described as ‘Eclectic, sharp edged, modern blues, with a 70s vibe.

‘Powerful, well delivered blues, comparable to Stone The Crows, Vinegar Joe, with Troweresque guitar and ‘Doorsy similarities’.

Dirty Ruby have also just received a top 20 nomination for the UK Blues Federation Awards, for Emerging Blues Act of the Year.
