Parking is free across Colne for the weekend of the Blues Festival.
Road Closures
For the event to run safely it is necessary to close the main road through the Town. Albert Road (from the Crown Hotel) up to the Junction of Market Street / Market Place (Altham’s Travel) from 5 pm until 2 am on the Friday and then 10 am until 2 am on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.
New Market Street will be closed (just before the Pendle Hippodrome) from 12pm on Friday until 2 am on Monday.
Car Parks
We appreciate that access to car parks is important for customers and staff.
A limited number of car parks will need to be closed for the duration of the festival and these include:
Red Lion Car Park – Thursday from 6 am until 6 pm on Monday.
All other car parks are FREE to use over the festival weekend.
As usual all ‘Mainline’ buses will be running to Colne throughout the Festival.
There will be some disruption due to road closures in the town centre.

For the event to run safely it is necessary to close the main road through the town between 10am and 2am on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.
Albert Road will be closed from the Crown Hotel up to the Duke of Lancaster on Church Street, plus New Market Street will be closed from just before the Hippodrome up to the main road.
New Market street will also be closed on Friday afternoon.
Whether you are travelling to Colne from Carbis Bay, Carmarthen or Caldercruix, the only way to go is by train!
