CAMPING

Camping & Accommodation

Colne & Nelson Rugby Club is our official campsite for the Festival, as well as doubling up as an Official Roadhouse.

Please note that buying a camping pass does not include access to any of the official venues. Tickets/wristbands for these will need to be bought separately. There are regular cleaning schedules and campsite security throughout the duration of the Festival.

Camping FAQs

It is 0.7mile away from the main venues, the address for it is Holt House, Harrison Drive, Colne BB8 9SF

As an Official Fringe Venue, a full programme of entertainment starts on Thursday night and runs through to Monday early evening.

Please note that this entertainment is provided free of charge for your enjoyment at the official Fringe venue camping site. All main stage venues require tickets to be purchased, and if you have not pre-booked these you will be able to obtain last minute tickets, subject to availability, at Colne Town Hall, from Thursday 24th August 9am-6pm, and through the entire weekend of the festival at these times.

Camping passes are valid for one day, a combination of days or a full weekend all to suit your needs. Campers can set up from 12pm (noon) on Thursday 24th August or other days as required. If you have an Individual Day Ticket, you need to leave the site by 12pm (noon) the following morning to allow for other campers to pitch their tents, please.

Unfortunately, there are no power hook-ups available at the campsite due to the nature and ordinary usage of the site. A generator may be used but requests may be made by campsite security to turn it off during night-time hours.

We do allow well-behaved dogs onto the campsite, and as a responsible owner we would ask you to make sure that you clean up after your dog. We do not allow any breeds of dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

At this current time this includes:

  • Pit Bull Terrier
  • Japanese Tosa
  • Dogo Argentino
  • Fila Braziliero

The Festival organisers/Rugby Club reserves the right to refuse admission to anybody attending the Festival with one of the aforementioned breeds, along with any dog that is out of control or clearly showing signs of aggression.

Breakfast and homemade hot meals are available at the campsite, which are provided by the Rugby Club; payable directly to them. There are plenty of takeaways, restaurants, and other eating establishments in Colne town centre, just ask one of the campsite staff or ask at our festival information points and we’ll be happy to recommend places for you.

  • Toilets within the rugby club
  • Porta-loos on site
  • Bar (open 8am-2am)
  • Opportunity to purchase merchandise
  • Disabled Shower & Toilet
